Rules - MDD The CE MarkThe Directive prescribes that medical devices shall bear the CE marking as a visible sign that the manufacturer has complied with the procedures of the Directive and that the products fulfill the requirements that apply to them. However, this does not apply to devices which have been custom-made to a particular patient or to devices intended for clinical investigation or exhibition at trade fairs etc.Back to index |
