Quality Management Institute (QMI) In October 1994, DGM entered a strategic cooperation agreement with the Canadian organisation Quality Management Institute (QMI). QMI is a department of Canadian Standards Association undertaking certification of quality systems. The objective of the cooperation agreement is primarily to give Canadian manufacturers of medical devices easy access to marketing their products on the European market by obtaining a CE mark from DGM. During the introductory phase QMI will act as a collaborative partner for the clients as regards classification and choice of route to the CE mark.
